The obvious one is holidays. The one that matters more is escape from gay life as it’s currently sold to you: the apps, the scene, the loop that leaves people lonely despite the freedoms we’ve won.
The Gay Escape is a UK-based media and travel platform for queer travellers: guides to places worth going, experiences worth having, and a podcast on gay life and everything we do with it.
No Sex Gay Weekend, a weekend built on connection over conquest, is one example of what we mean. Everything we write and record starts from the same question: what does gay life actually look like when it’s working, here and everywhere else?
